Food for pets with weight problems. Call our UK-based team for advice

We all want to give our pets the very best foods, but sometimes overfeeding and excessive treat giving can do our pets more harm than good. This can lead to obesity, which is a common problem amongst dogs, cats and other pets in the UK. That said, issues can also occur if your pet is underweight. Although you may be thinking this couldn't affect the quality of life for animals, there are many issues that can arise due to weight concerns - strain on legs and joints, digestive issues, increased risk of some types of cancer, diabetes and heart disease. These are problems we all want to avoid for our pet, so if you can take preventative measures, like opting for weight control food, we want to help!

What's best?

We have a range of weight control foods that give owners the peace of mind they need when it comes to feeding time. Many of these foods have reduced calories, are hypoallergenic and use the most natural of produce to ensure your pet is getting everything the need to live a healthy life.

From biscuits to meats, we can guide you in choosing the right weight control product to give your bestie.

What are the signs?

There are many signs that could indicate your pet being over or underweight, but it's always best to seek advice from your vet if you're concerned. Here are just some of the common things to look out for:

  • Protruding bones, including hips and ribs, which could indicate your pet is underweight. On the other hand, if you struggle to feel your dog's ribs, spine or waistline, they could be overweight
  • Abdominal sagging or dropping
  • Larger, rounded faces
